This year's keynote speaker will be DWM executive board member Dan Rodrigues, who will present a "Whale of a Tale,"
a compilation of three recorded television interviews highlighting the life of his grandfather, Captain John Theophilo Gonsalves.
Captain Gonsalves began his elongated whaling career as a cabin boy at age 11 to captain the last voyage of the
Charles W. Morgan in 1920. DWM's Rich Taber will interview Dan to learn more about his grandfather's escape from Arctic ice,
hurricanes, a German U-boat encounter and mutiny.
Luncheon menu choices are baked stuffed breast of chicken, baked scrod or chef's salad ($30 per person, all inclusive)
Guests are welcome.
